Otherwise I'll have to return the WD19tb. So as a last ditch effort, figured I'd post here again now that I've narrowed down the issue to the Intel USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10. I made a post about this last week with no luck on a fix, however, I did not associated the above unknown device issue to my issue, so figured it was worth one last ditch effort post to see if someone is familiar with this issue.ĭuring my troubleshooting I came across the below similar post, but there doesn't seem to be a fix. There's a yellow exclamation mark in device manager when the USB ports are not working, specifically the error is "This device cannot start. It seems the issue is related to an "unknown device" issue, specifically with the Intel USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10. I've been trying to troubleshoot an issue with my WD19TB's USB ports not working when plugged into my Precision 5540 TB3 port.
